Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are a key component to the success of our Festival. Here are just some of the ways our volunteers help out while Festival musicians are in town:
Musician Hospitality
- Homestay host – provide accommodation and light breakfast for a visiting musician.
- Dinner host – provide and host dinner for chamber musicians.
- After-party host – host post-concert party.
- Rehearsal host – setup rooms ready for rehearsals. Might include making coffee, setting out snacks, being available to answer questions etc.
Transportation
- Local – drive musicians to/from rehearsal and concert venues.
- PDX – drive musicians to/from Portland airport.
Food Service
- Lunches – provide and prepare food, assist with setup/cleanup.
- Dinners – provide and prepare food, assist with setup/cleanup.
At Events
- Stage management – assist with setting/resetting stage before, during and after performances.
- House management – assist with setting/resetting house before and after performances (e.g set out/pack away chairs).
- On-site ticket and merchandise sales.
- Patron check-in.
- Ushering.
- Food service, bartending.
- Parking coordination.
